Core Processing and Preparation Equipment
- The core is a fundamental component, often made of laminated silicon steel, high-permeability alloys, or ferrite ceramics, which requires specific processing depending on the material.
- Core Cutting/Slitting Machine: Used to precisely cut large “mother coils” of grain-oriented electrical steel (CRGO) into the required laminations or strips for wounded cores.
- Coil Winding Machine: A core piece of equipment, this machine precisely winds copper or aluminum wire onto bobbins or directly onto the transformer core.
- Manual, Semi-Automatic, or Automatic (CNC) Winders: The level of automation depends on the scale of production and precision requirements.
- Toroidal Winding Machine: Specialized equipment for winding wire around toroidal (ring-shaped) cores.

Testing and Quality Control Equipment
To ensure accuracy, safety, and performance, specialized testing equipment is essential.
- Current Transformer Analyzer: This vital equipment is used to test key parameters such as the turns ratio, excitation current, polarity, winding resistance, and insulation resistance.
- High Voltage (HV) Tester / Dielectric Strength Tester: Used to ensure the transformer’s insulation can withstand specified high voltages without breakdown.
- Milli-ohm Meter: For highly accurate measurement of winding resistance.
- Calibrated Reference Standard Current Transformer: A highly accurate standard used to compare and calibrate the manufactured units.
